SuperPrintable Tab is a Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with a simple productivity dashboard. We take your privacy seriously and designed this extension so that it works without collecting any personal data.
This policy applies only to the SuperPrintable Tab Chrome extension. For the SuperPrintable website, please refer to the main site privacy policy.
1. Information We Collect
The SuperPrintable Tab extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or contact details
- IP addresses or location data
- Browsing history or website content
- Analytics, tracking data, or usage profiles
No data from the extension is sent to our servers.
2. Local Storage (On Your Device Only)
The extension uses Chrome’s built-in chrome.storage API solely to store:
- Your selected theme and color preferences
- Your chosen default search engine
- Your focus timer statistics (session counts, minutes, etc.)
- Notes you choose to create inside the extension
All of this information is stored locally in your browser and may sync via your Google account if you have Chrome sync enabled. We do not have access to this data.
3. Permissions Used
The extension requests only minimal permissions:
storage, required to save your settings, notes, and timer stats locally so they persist between sessions.- Host permission for
superprintable.com, used only to fetch the public RSS feed from SuperPrintable.com to display the latest posts on the dashboard.
These permissions do not give us access to your personal data, browsing history, or any other websites.
4. Third-Party Services
The extension does not integrate analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party data collectors.
The only network request it makes is to retrieve the public RSS feed from superprintable.com so that you can see the latest posts.
5. Children’s Privacy
The extension is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children. Because no personal data is collected, there is no profile or tracking of any user, including children.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to how the extension works or to this privacy policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Any changes will only apply going forward.
